    Xbox One Controller locks up...


    What's up with the Xbox One Controller freezing after you connect the charge cable while Xbox One Controller is on? You have to hard boot the system to get the controller features working again. This is really annoying and you get booted from games for
    being inactive. Fix Please!!!!

    Controller Trigger Locking Up

    I think there may be an issue with the trigger rumble device in the left trigger of my day one controller. the controller will occasionally lock up in various positions during use. this can sometimes be remedied by shaking the controller, but i'd like a
    more permenant solution.

    MonCheri this post is old, it's always better to start a new thread and state your issue fully, with all things you have tried. I'm not entirely sure which issue has happened to you as there have been two stated.

    Feel free to start a new thread detailing your issue and what steps you've tried.

    Please hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. That should solve the issue for you.

    This happened to me too. I powered down my xbox as suggested above, and it didn't work.

    It's not so much that the rumble is stopping as i think it and possibly part of the trigger itself aren't' attached properly. It's actually blocking the trigger from depressing. probably should have made that more clear, sorry
