    Xbox One Controller Left Thumbstick Issues


    Hey everyone!

    My left thumbstick is having issues reading up and down. Its perfectly fine with left and right. Ive already taken apart the controller and replaced the thumbstick so I know the issue is something more particular.

    I downloaded the Game Controller Tester app to confirm is the left thumbstick that’s giving me issues.

    I believe it has something to do with the sensor. Has anyone had this issue before? Can I just buy a replacement thumbstick analog sensor for a few bucks on eBay and be done with it? Im trying to sell one of my Xbox’s for a few extra bucks.

    hello! I've had this problem with my controller before. This is when your controller starts to drift I would advise you to go by GameStop and get a new controller.

    So I ended up ordering a soldering kit and replacing the joy stick mechanism with a new one and now my controller works perfectly 🤗

    This may be because you have dropped your controller or may have used it to much. Also this is a constant problem with may xbox controller users.
