Xbox One controller left stick not working correctly

hi there, is your controller still under warranty, is it an elite or standard controller you may be able to submit a claim replacement or repair via https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/warranty-service/console-warranty.

if the console is fairly new and retail bought then you may potentially be able to visit your local store where you purchased the controller.

if however the controller is out of warranty and has been used , overtime certain components do wear down and develop a stick drift. unfortunately without tech support this is hard to correct.

i would also suggest try to lightly clean the stick area to make sure no debris or dirt is affecting the stick to move slightly.

Sorry for the issue with your controllers. Have you tried updating the controllers? Also you can take the batteries out of the controllers leave out for about a minute. When you power up console make sure nothing on controller is being pressed. Try these

Do you by chance have a second controller signed in, that is pushing up?

On the main Xbox menus, multiple controllers are "fighting" over the control of the dashboard, and every controller can move the cursor.

When you start a game, each controller is assigned to a specific player, and only that player is controlled. So if a second controller is always pushing up, it won't affect control in a game of the first controller anymore.
