  1. Xbox One controller left stick issues

My controller's left stick doesn't respond when I move it to the right. I have it fully updated and there are no new updates available. This has been happening the past two weeks or so. When I pull the stick up the issue stops, but I can't sprint in games
like call of duty without pushing it back in. Any possible fixes or is my controller dead?

    :)

Xbox One Controller Left Analog Stick Issues

Okay, so my Xbox One controller's left analog stick is at it's regular position, but when it appears on screen, it is always finding a way to move up when I'm not moving the stick. Any troubleshooting tips for this, and/or is this happening to other people?

I'm having a very similar issue with my elite controller too. My left thumbstick also started to unrespond when moving up and pushing in about a week ago. Again I can't sprint consistently in Call of Duty. I tried a different controller and no problem, I'm
battery is fully charged, controller up to date and controller settings defaulted using the app. I've tried wired and wireless and I'm still experiencing the same issue.

Sounds like the one of the sensors under your thumbstick is damaged, or the thumbstick guides inside the controller are broke, which is why you have to lift up on the stick in order for the problem to go away.

It could be simple as a sticking issue, like if something was spilled down around the thumbstick, or possibly that it is damaged inside.

If your controller is under warranty, please submit an RMA with Xbox through Chat, Email or Phone in order to get it sent it right away for a Fix or Replacement. (Or get it exchanged if you bought it through a distrubutor or retailer)

If it no longer has a warranty, instead of throwing it away, under your own discretion (and im not telling you that it needs to be done) but you could open your controller case, and see if their is damage, in which you could replace the broken parts or put
in new thumbsticks. (opening your Controller will void your Controller Warranty).

  6. I thjust no this has something to do with the last software update. I had no,problems whatsoever and nail after the update. Controller and console less than a year old. New controller, same issue. Plugged in to USB, same issue.

No external hard drive. No, I star stuff, not even Kinect. Can't imagine it's a hardware thing. Has to be software and has to be update related. Get it together Team Xbox. This is very uninspiring.

Issue with Fight Stick on Xbox One

    Hello,

I am having an issue with my fight stick on the Xbox one. Switching controls for the stick (DPad, Left- or Right-Stick) is not recognized by the Xbox. The system will only recognize the stick as a DPad. I tested this with the controller tester in the Xbox
    settings.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Are there any solutions?

I am using a Hori RAP One Kai Fighting Stick on the Xbox One X. The Fight Stick has a small switcher for changing the controls of the stick (DPad, Left- or Right-Stick).

    Thanks in advance.
    Hi there ;)

Did you try changing usb ports? Maybe using the ports on the back will work

    Xbox Controllers

i have an original day one 2013 controller at home, that works perfect, every controller since the Xbox one s has come out get either stick drift on the left stick or bumber issues including the original elite.

I have a third party licenced controller, no issues (go figure).

i think as the left stick double as a click in which is mostly used for running in games causes this issue, but only on the official controllers.
