Xbox One controller left stick broken

    Xbox One controller left stick broken


    I bought this controller in August and within the last month or so, pushing the left stick forward forward makes the player character in a video game wobble left to right. I'm only pushing straight forward but the character still wobbles. I've re-calibrated
    it a few time but it doesn't help. Is it still in warranty? Can I fix it? Thanks in advance

    yes, left thumbstick break, drift.... is a very well known problem. Google it and you'll find 100's of post on this faulty part with controllers. I own 2 white lunar and 1 black one, all have left drift. I also have a 4th controller that will not turn on.

    The controllers thumbsticks are junk in my opinion.

    Found your post googling how to solder, trade in.....what to do after my 3rd controller left thumbstick started sticking last night.

    Controller left stick broken

    My xbox one controller's left stick is stuck in the up position however the stick still works how it is ment to on the display it is constantly pushed up. I have taken apart the controller and cleaned all if it and it has not worked. was wondering if anyone
    had had this problem and knew a fix ?

    Hey there hatfordinc.

    We don't recommend taking your controller apart, as it voids the warranty. Unfortunately if you're still having issues a replacement is gong to be your best option. Thanks for your understanding.

    Turns out mine was actually my controller, left thumb stick is broken. Put a new one in and it worked. Hope you get yours sorted

    No this isn’t an update fix it’s a fault with the controller , all 4 that I have bought have had a broken left stick

    Sad but both my Day One and extra controllers are now broken. Both same issue. Left stick clicking and catching on rotation. Really don't want to spend anymore time or money on getting these replaced.
