Discus and support Xbox one controller left analogue stick in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So after my run, I cooled down and decided to buy a new controller while my other one was on route.     Xbox one controller left analogue stick


    So after my run, I cooled down and decided to buy a new controller while my other one was on route. This controller I bought though, has a crackling sound with the headset adapter, I've updated and checked troubleshooting. This is some kind of dark joke.

    Check out the videos on YouTube. People are posting them up. The shake and rattle test for example. As soon as I unboxed my two returned controllers back from Microsoft I did this. To find that they rattled before I had even played with them or sync'd
    them up to my system.

    Have you tried this:

    Holding down power button on console for 15 sec.

    unplugging PSU (power supply unit) for 20 sec.

    plugging PSU DIRECTLY into a wall, (no extensions, no surge protectors, etc)

    then restarting and retrying?

    The PSU brick is a built in surge protector, by plggin into anything but direct outlet can cause other issues, like kinects not being recognized, or starting, controllers not binding, or having input issues, etc. even headsets not giving audio, or otherwise
    partial usage of devices or accessories

    This is the third controller I exhanged this week. playing NHL the left analog sticks break and come look when pushing to the right. Excuse my language but how is this not *** fixed yet? I bought original wireless controllers, payed 10 more for Dusk Shadow
    all the same *** design flaw on the left stick. Ridiculous. I will probably have returned 10 more in the next two weeks or so.

    No, but I use an arcade stick. How old are your controllers? Sounds like your analogue sticks are not centering when left alone.

    I have found this on many xbox one controllers, its either the triggers failing, the all time classic analogue stick drift, primarily from left stick or headphone jack not working.

    Yet to see a single third party cheap controller break yet.

    SnobbishSoup, I don't think that's EA scripting issue because the new controller works perfectly fine for first couple of games; it just gradually starts showing the above mentioned issues as I play more games. And I maintain the protection plan for the
    controller (or will buy new one when expires) from my retailer, so I don't want to void it by opening it up. But it is really frustrating to go to the store for the exchange time and again for the same issue. I hope MS is listening to us and coming up with
    the fix sooner rather than later. I have already started questioning my loyalty to XBox (and MS).
