Xbox one controller LB bumper not responding

Hello,

My LB bumper stopped responding. The first thing i did was blowing in it and it actually worked for a day or two. After that it completely stopped working. A friend of mine gave me a controller that he barely has used and in the beginning it worked perfectly.
Now i have the same issue. I tried resetting my controller and i also did a console reset. Nothing has worked.

Power down, press and hold the sync button (the small one to link in wireless controllers) and while holding it press the power button.

Continue to hold the sync button until the console is booted up.

Go to System Settings and choose storage.

On your controller, press the following button sequence: LB-RB-X-LB-RB-X where LB is the Left Bumper and RB is the Right Bumper

Now, retry updating from the USB drive.

You have to push the sync button on the controller (Next to LB bumper) and the sync button on the front of the Xbox 360 at the same time for the controller to sync properly.

Hello again Michael,

If you are referring to the X, LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X sequence on Step 7, Those buttons will be the "Right Bumper" and "Left bumper". the two horizontal buttons above the triggers on the back of the controller. They should be labeled as well.
