    XBOX ONE Controller lag


    Since either the last OS update or Controller update the controller input lag is making it near impossible to play games especially Fifa 15.

    I have a top of the range TV with game mode and pre OS and controller updates Fifa played absolutely fine. Now there is a definite 3-400 ms input lag.

    So what have a tried?

    1. Tested with every mode setting on TV
    2. Tested with two controllers (both updated to latest firmware)
    3. Tested with no battery packs and connected via USB
    4. Tested on-line and offline
    5. Un-installed Fifa15 and reinstalled and still the same problem
    6. Installed Fifa 15 tested before Fifa 15 update
    7. Applied Fifa 15 update
    ** Sometimes when sprinting it reacts as though I am pressing and depressing the sprint button in rapid fashion as the player sprints then stops and sprints again

    All of the above the input lag remains for both controllers.

    Has anyone any other suggestions?

    Is there any way to downgrade the firmware updates to the controllers so I can at least discount.

    Quick and easy question!

    I want to reduce the lag between my controller and Xbox One. Should I connect any micro USB to the controller and console (and use batteries in the controller) or should I buy the play and charge kit? Or does it even matter which one?

    XBOX ONE Controller lag

    As an update I noticed moving from left to right very quick using the analog stick there is a slight delay on the home page too, however this delay does not appear to be present using the d-pad.

    This is suspiciously pointing towards the left analog stick input.

    Can anyone else try this and see?

    p.s. I have tried two fully functioning pads with the latest firmware (it may be the firmware)

    So tonight I borrowed a mates controller who has not updated his firmware (as he does not know how to).

    My firmware on two controllers experiencing the problem is: 1.1.2228.0

    The firmware on a friends controller not experiencing the problem is: 1.1.279.2

    Just to illustrate on the home screen using the analog stick moving left to right on the old firmware controller it is very responsive.

    On the controllers with the latest firmware every 5-6 movement left or right it has a slight pause almost as though the xbox one is buffering the controller input...

    Hope this helps others

    This is happening to me as well. I updated my Advanced Warfare Edition controller to the newest firmware like 2-3 weeks ago. And as of yesterday(December 2nd, 2014) the left analog stick for my controller has been lagging when I try to go in the directions
    of up and down. But when I comes to right and left, it's perfectly fine. I don't know whether it's the firmware's fault or it's a defective controller, but this is really getting on my nerves. XBOX ONE Controller lag :p

    Hey,

    i have a gaming monitore:D

    I have another old xbox one controller and this one works with no problems.

    The new one has input lags, so probably the controller is in some way broken...
