Xbox One Controller keeps turning off

    Xbox One Controller keeps turning off


    I've had my ONE since Christmas, not really had any trouble with it at all. Here lately though, after playing it more, my controller just randomly turns off. I hit a button hard and it turns off. I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with the battery
    connectivity. Press hard on the plastic, no buttons and turns off.

    I've also had problems with it not holding a charge now. It tells me its low, I charge it, which doesn't take long. Start playing and not long in its dead again, whats the deal? I now have to play with the wire connected to my xbox just to play an hour.

    Anyone else having this problem? Is my battery bad or are they just junk? Humm...

    Console Turning Off, Controller Will Not Sync

    My son's XBox One keeps randomly freezing & turning off. He is also having issues keeping his controller synced. Any suggestions on what we can do to fix this?

    Never had this kind of problem! After the September update often started disconnecting my control!

    I'm going to buy one of the off brand recharging stations that come with the generic battery. I bet it will work better.

    I'm Samy an independent advisor. Welcome to the Xbox community. How are you?

    It is very likely that the wireless card that makes the connection between the console and the controllers is defective and needs to be replaced.

    Do a favor. Press and hold the console power button until the console turns off, remove the power cord and HDMI cable. Remove the batteries from your controller for a few minutes.

    After a few minutes, plug the cables into your console, put the batteries in your controller, and try powering up the console with your controller and see if it stays connected.

    If the problem persists, I'm afraid the console will need to be repaired. This link contains instructions on how to send the console to Microsoft.
