Xbox one controller joystick problems

Having to mash down on the joysticks to perform an action is getting old like on all of the CoD games,dead island,titanfal beta just to name a few. What happends is it causes the joysticks to wareout prematurely and also in the heat of battle while you try
to aim and shoot or some other action your controller dose something else on you instead like melee or duck down or some other action you end up getting killed or loose alot of health. I am tired of this!! It's a novel idea to have the joysticks as a button
too but it's more of a hassel than a help I wish this feature was removed or at least have the option to turn it off and not have to use them at all and not made a requirement to use them and still be able to play the game. I played titanfal beta and it could
be a good game but this feature is exactly why I will not buy this game or anyother game that makes the joystick buttons a requirement to play the game.

Why is it that everytime i buy a new controller, the stupid joysticks end up not working properly after only 2months of playing on it? On both of my fairly new controllers, the right joystick turns camera in any game im playing for no reason. Super annoying.
And for one of my controllers, the left joystick has a issue with going forward in games i.e. walking or selecting stuff in menu. And for the other controllers left joystick, it had a 50%chance of strafing? Im not made of money and this has happened on several
controllers, not just the two i currently own. ive probably had 10controllers or more. Is microsoft trying to fix this? Do i have bad luck? WTH? Makes me wonder if theres a third party controller thatll work right for say, 1 whole year would be nice?

Let's use BF4 as an example:

Every button is used. Therefore, the knife is on RS. Why is this such an issue? I've only once clicked it in the heat of battle and I've learned to avoid doing that.

And a "Novel" idea? The PS1 and Original Xbox had this feature, and it's a very useful one which has been carried over on every console since. I think it was conceived and put into action even before the PS1 but I can't place which console that would be.

EDIT: If you are only going to buy games that don't use it you are going to miss every FPS and many good games. AFAIK so far no FPSs avoid these buttons, only games where they are not using every button like Forza and Peggle. Dead Rising 3 uses it in the
map, CoD and BF4 use it for knife (or crouch depending on controls), Halo will use it for crouch, hell even Dying Light and Mirror's Edge will use them.

It sounds more like a problem with the game controls instead of the controller itself.

I have this problem with both of my xbox one wireless controllers, particularly the left joystick and one also has a problem with the right joystick. The thing is, I hardly ever play games on my xbox one. I thought I was just crappy at all the games until
I started to fill out forms using the controller and would do left joystick and watch the highlighted letter on the alphabet screen light up once to the left and then quickly go back or down.

The joysticks are a mess and M$ has no way to report the problem or get it fixed, as far as I've been able to do. You go to the repair page, enter "controller joystick malfunction" and it gives me 2 options: 1. test console network connectivity or 2. send
in the kinect module for replacement.

WTF? FU M$.

Logitech Extreme Pro 3D Joystick is actually one of the recommended joystick or accessory for the Xbox adaptive controller. However, we can only use the Joystick and not the buttons and thumbstick, for now.

If it the regular Xbox controller or a special kind?

All Xbox controllers have this problem. It is a little grey chip in the left joystick that re-centers the stick. The problem is, the plastic of that chip is so fragile that even a slight nudge at where the chip is located(Right Side of Joystick) will break
it off. At the moment I have not found a way to fix this but to buy a new controller for a silly problem.
