    Xbox One Controller Issues - Warrenty on the site... won't register.


    Recently I bought a controller from B&H. The A button isn't working as indented. I wanted to look into the warranty. I registered the serial number on the microsoft devices page, and it came up as non-specificNottingham. However, it says "Register your device
    serial number to see coverage details" but after entering the serial number again, it says it was successful but nothing changes - the "register" option is still there. There is also a service option, but this simply doesn't work, saying it doesn't work right
    now and to try again later. It has been like this for 5 days.

    What should I do?

    If you register your Xbox One on xbox.com, you can see if it is still under warrenty.

    I will say when new xbox comes out..no point n buyn a elite since it has issues..and no long term warrenty

    I wonder if we can pull implied warrenty..that would over rule thier 90 day warrenty..siting implied that its the best and tough.

    Id start by plugging it in to your computer and finding a controller tester on google. Yoy should be able to check that all button are indeed registering properly. If not if you got the warrenty replacing it should be simple

    I would contact Xbox Support (choose phone or chat) to run a serial check on your controller and see if they can help you arrange a repair with Microsoft.
