Xbox One controller issue.

Let me just start off by saying that i'm new to this forum and i wanted to thank people in advance for even giving this a look. Ok so my issue with my Xbox One controller is that the right trigger is not working and it came like this when i first opened
it up right out of the box. Its not the day one controller in case anyone begins to wonder. I'm not really sure what to do since i dont know how to contact Microsoft and i dont know if they are willing to fix my controller. Any help would be much appreciated.

could just be the lower hand panel.... the XB360 was a one piece... the 1 has a panel that can be removed to access the rumble...

I'm wondering if I'm not the only one here with that being said I have an xbox one controller an it has like a bending plastic feel or noise of plastic bending when you squeeze the controller on one side and this is my replacement controller and the other
one had same issue so who is experiencing this issue?

Then go to the support section and register Your XBOX ONE.

Go to the repair section myservice.xbox.com and request a return for your controller.

You will receive packaging instructions.

Follow the instructions and sent the controller to the repair center.

You will receive a new controller within 20 business days.

 

Hey when i tried to request a return for my controller, it says it couldn't find an accessory. It also said that my controller wasn't covered by warranty even though my Xbox One is covered? Is there a number so i can call Microsoft? Thanks for the help i

I'm having an issue with my controller as well. My left analog stick is defective and I've registered my Xbox One console on Xbox Support. It's still under a warranty. However, I tried to request a replacement for my controller, it says that there is no
accessory available for replacement nor is anything, besides my console and Kinect, under warranty. The image that supposedly shows where the Product ID is is not there because the image url is broken. I have until the 28th of this month before my warranty
is out and I REALLY need to replace this controller.

I tried to contact Xbox Support online but all agents are busy for large quantities of time (probably Halo complaints). If an official can help me as soon as possible, I'd appreciate it.

 

@VisioNs I can track down a support number for you, I would just need to know for what country you require. Don't post specifics please, all we would need is country of residence. Also just to add the warranty period on accessories differs from that of the
console. Take for example: I'm in the U.S. my console is covered for one year (this includes console and Kinect sensor) Any accessories such as headsets or controllers only have a 90 day warranty. Outside of the U.S. this can vary depending on the countries
laws.

I have a brand new (5 or so day old Xbox one). The controller keeps disconnecting and connecting. I went through all the steps I can find online to address up the issue, and all the steps that Microsoft support can provide. This system should be functioning
properly when I purchased it, yet, after spending $700 plus on all games , xbox live, and the console itself I am unwilling to spend another cent on something that should have been functioning when I purchased it. It is unacceptable to me to have to pay
another 20 dollars for Microsoft to address a problem that should have been caught in testing/quality control.
