Xbox One controller isn't recognised by PC

I do understand the urgency of you wanting to find other ways for this issue of yours in regards with Xbox one controller that is unable to be recognized. We are very glad to find some of the best possible options and troubleshooting's that we can provide for you.



First and foremost let's check if the controller is properly connected to your PC. Please make sure that the USB cable is securely plugged into both the controller and the PC. If the controller is still not recognized, try plugging it into a different USB port on your PC.



If the controller is still not recognized, let's check if the necessary drivers are installed on your PC. Please follow the steps below:



1. Press the Windows key + X on your keyboard and select Device Manager from the list of options.

2. Look for the Xbox One controller under the "Other devices" or "Universal Serial Bus controllers" section.

3. Right-click on the controller and select "Update driver".

4. Select "Search automatically for updated driver software" and wait for the process to complete.



If the driver update does not work, you can manually download and install the Xbox One controller driver from the Microsoft website. Here's how:



1. Go to the Microsoft Xbox One controller driver download page (https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-us/d/xbox-one-controller-for-windows)

2. Select your operating system and language from the drop-down menus.

3. Click on the "Download" button to download the driver.

4. Once the download is complete, run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.



After installing the driver, try connecting your Xbox One controller to your PC again and see if it is recognized.

If the controller is still not recognized, you can try resetting the controller. Here's how:



1. Turn off your Xbox One controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button for 10 seconds.

2. Disconnect the controller from your PC.

3. Press and hold the pairing button on the back of the controller until the Xbox button starts flashing.

4. Reconnect the controller to your PC using the USB cable.

Hello sadly none of them worked my xbox controller does not light up and my PC still isn't recognising it. Just wondering when you connect the controller to the PC is it supposed to light up and the PC to instantly detect it or not? I still need help

If an Official Xbox One controller is recognised by your Xbox One console where the controller from Zedlabz is not recognised then I would try reaching out to the people who made the controller for support.

We will be requesting a full refund as they insisted they work.

I know it isn't a problem with the USB connection as the current remotes work thru it.

I too have this issue. Got the update when Forza Horizon 5 was released on the Xbox One.

Pad worked fine on Xbox but when I tried to use it later in a PC I found the issues.

Although the pad will connect, it doesn't control anything and isn't recognise by the games. Tried on two PC. It also isn't picked up by the Accessories App.

It is 100% this firmeay upgrade, as everything was working before.
