    Xbox one controller is dead - now what?


    I have a dead Xbox One controller. Having tried and failed at all the suggested remedies, I would like to pursue a warranty return:

    1. selecting warranty/repair service center, I'm asked to register the device but the S/N is not accepted

    2. attempting to contact support, can't find a phone number. The chat option asks me to enter my name but the name box is unselectable/greyed out and I can't do it.

    3. So here I am, posting for help. Is there a phone number? I've been going in circles and need to talk to a human.

    xbox one controller drifting

    hi i have read the posts about xbox one pad drifting and mine is doing the same i have tried to update the controller like xbox advise people have been told and now my controller wont turn on after plugging it into my xbox going to setting and using the
    controller update now my pad is dead

    The dead zone.

    I completely agree. I notice this on Shadow of Mordor (Windows 7 64-bit). It's an excessive amount of dead zone. I also compared this with my xbox 360 controller. The dead zone on the xbox 360 is smaller (better) than on the xbox one controller. And the
    360 controller I tested is brand new (less than one hour of use).

    So are any of these features listed in this link

    You could try putting the charged battery into the controller with the dead battery. Or hook up the charging cable to the dead controller and the Xbox One.( It will charge while you play)

    My Day One broke and then the headset a week later. Sent back controller which they lost for 2 months. Now both the replacement controller and headset are dead. Will be jumping ship to PS4.
