Xbox One Controller - Irritating D-Pad Spring Noises

Since I've gotten my Xbox One, my controller's had a very annoying spring problem. Every time I press right or up on the D-Pad, I'm given a very annoying spring noise. It can be very distracting and sometimes I have to resort to using the analog stick
to navigate because I just can't take the spring noises anymore. Does anyone know if there is an easy way to fix this, or do I have to send it in for repairs? Since Destiny is coming out tomorrow, I do NEED a controller to play... But I'd rather have a controller
that operates correctly than to stick with what I have at the moment.

Quick Note:

-Only the right and up portions of the D-Pad make the spring noises. The left and bottom do not.

-The controller itself has no problem connecting to the console. It's simply the spring feedback I receive when I press right or up on the D-Pad.

the day one edition controller's d-pad is making springy noises

Has this happened to anyone else? When I click on the up d-pad on my Day One edition controller, it makes this loud Springy noise every single time.

I think a spring must be loose in there or something.

Xbox One Day One Controller-broken left bumper

The spring in the D-Pad broke for mine while I was signing in to the console on the first press. Will I get a Day One Controller or a standard controller?

Ok, getting annoyed now. Called the store I bought the console from and they replaced it, now the console is fine and the controller is annoying as heck, every time the is a vibration in the game it makes a weird beeping noise, every time I press A it does
this also, it also has a problem with right on the d-pad by making a loudish spring noise every time I press it. And the first controller I had also had a problem right on the d-pad as it was a much clunkier push compared to the other 3.

I realize my Xbox day one edition controller doesn't work with the headset. But when plugged into the second controller bought at game stop it works on there. Also when I hit the down button on the D pad it makes a loud spring sound.

My day one controller is doing the same thing as well. My additional controller however is just fine. There's bunch of pictures on the internet of the inside of the controller. There's a metal ring around the d-pad (for spring purposes?) which I believe
is the source of the sound.
