Xbox one controller home button unresponsive

I have been having trouble returning to the Xbox home screen and accessing the quick turn off menu with my controller. Holding the button down a little longer than to pull up the quick turn off menu results in the controller turning itself off automaticaly.
I have tried with two controllers, both doing the same thing, and reseting the console/ updating one of the controllers. I don't know if this could have caused this problem but it happed after trying to sign into the Roblox game.

Xbox one home button not responsive

Neither one of those worked I updated my controller and resynced it and it's still not working home button still unresponsive

Controller buttons, namely A and shoulder, sometimes unresponsive

I just bought the Xbox One X. Controller paired without issue. Sometimes, however, the A button and shoulder buttons become unresponsive; that is I have to press A twice or "harder" to get a response. This happens in-game and within Home menu.

How to resolve?

It does not.Only way my controller turns on and get to the menu when I need is when I press the home button and up and right on the D pad at the same time. My home button is completely unresponsive on it's own

I have same issue, now experiencing mid session unresponsiveness with all buttons but home/logo button totally unresponsive. No disconnect message, just unresponsive. Any others?

I'm able to turn my XBox One one on with my controller but then the whole thing is unresponsive. All I am able to do is hit the home button and turn it back off. Very frustrating and disappointing as it is a gift for my son and he was able to use it once
so far. Anyone working on this issue?
