    Xbox One controller/headset


    I bought an Xbox One with 2 controllers + a 3.5mm headset. The headset works in one controller, but not in the other and I have tried going through all the settings on the Xbox but didn't fix anything. I believe it may be a hardware issue and I was wondering,
    what do I do about this?

    I recommend taking a look at the following troubleshooting articles:


    If the problem persists:

    • Try your Xbox One Stereo Headset with another device, such as a laptop, to see if the headset is working. If not, the headset will need to be replaced.
    • Try your Headset on another controller, if you can. If the headset works on the second controller, try
      updating the first controller again.
      If that fails, the controller will need to be replaced. To order a replacement, go to the
      Xbox Online Service Center.

    Hello GoFaSTeRNu,

    When you say "original Xbox headset", are you referring to the "Xbox One Chat Headset" ? If so, and I understand that you have already tried a few things,
    but may I suggest following up with "Xbox One Chat Headset troubleshooting" . If you continue to have an issue, then I would check to make sure that the controller
    is "Update your Xbox One Controller" .
