    really appalling how long they last compared to the 360 controller. i have had 2 xbox one controllers (one was a replacement from microsoft),and both broke the same way inside 3-6 months. the analog stick on the right floats. moving my character and look
    controls on its own. there is no reason ,for the price we pay,for the quality of one controllers to be just as bad or worse than the 30 buck junk.i refuse to buy another untill the price drastically drops or quality is higher .

    Xbox one controller - exceptionally poor quality?

    Just bought an xbox one this weekend, but much to my chagrin, the controller is of extremely poor quality. Half the controller seems loose and clicks when I apply slight pressure. Has anyone experienced extremely poor quality with xbox one controllers, or
    am I standing alone on this one? It doesn't seem nearly as solid as the xbox 360 controller :-(

    My conroller is broken

    Don't buy a knock-off and just buy an official one. They are only $40 at the moment, and not too big of a hit on your wallet. They are definitely better quality that will last you a while. Unlike me, I smash and bash my controllers from raging too hard.

    You are right, it was a knock-off/refurbished controller as you suggested; I've arranged a return and will buy a Microsoft brand Xbox One controller, I suppose.

    simple don't buy it looks like a cheap knock off for series 1 of the xbox one controller. Try purchasing from trusted retailers

    Welcome to xbox, you just have to buy another controller. I have had about 30 controllers, and not one doesn't have a defect that affects gameplay. The quality is horrible and no one from MS will acknowledge it.

    Without original packaging, the only way to really tell is by trying to play an original Xbox game. If it works, then it's official. If not, then it's a knock-off. Coming from ebay it has a high chance of being a knock off though.

    Think about it objectively, how do you feel about voice commands and motion control? I personally wouldn't buy a Xbox One without the Kinect, the IR blaster works perfectly for turning my TV/receiver on and off and works great for controlling my cable box,
    there aren't many games with Kinect support, but Dead Rising 3 has a cool feature where you shake the controller to knock zombie off that grab you and Battlefield 4 I heard has some good functionality, hope to see more of that in the future.
