Xbox One Controller (Hardware faulty?) on Windows 10 left analogue stick rotation from up...

My Xbox One Controller can't properly handle clockwise rotational movement from up to down. In a game this means that if I'm running upwards and then rotate clockwise to go downwards I move very slowly and have to release the stick and press down again if
I want to move at appropriate speed. Counter clockwise up to down works fine.

I've replicated this glitch in Xbox Accessories app Test Mode where it will sometimes show as down not being pressed at all when I perform this rotation.

I have been unable to find any way to adjust the dead-zones or even test the device properly to see if there is an underlying issue that could be fixed.

I have tried downloading the latest firmware (through Xbox Accessories App) and the bug persists.

It is also present when tried in a Steam Link and a Windows 7 computer.

This bug was present since purchase but I do not know where the receipt is.

Other rotations (left to right, right to left, down to up) as well as any rotation on right analogue stick works well.

    :)

Could you possibly elaborate on the "pop out of place" issue you are having?

I personally haven't had any issue with the new controller, I own two. I also picked up a console for my nephews, which has 2 controllers as well.

I imagine that you mean the analog sticks are breaking, but I can't be certain with how you phrased it. If so, are you putting a great deal of pressure on the analog sticks?

In any case what design changes are you insisting they make?

I'm on my 4th controller, seriously. I have had my xbox 360 controllers for years, never ever had this much trouble. The left stick breaks off inside, not enough to quit functioning completely, but enough that I can't always run when I want in COD. something
in the left stick breaks off. there is plastic loose in my controllers (I have 2 that have the problem currently)

The analog stick feels like it is not in place. It looks normal but it is not right. When playing madden and kicking a field goal, the arrow on screen will move to the left or right on it's own, making you have trouble lining it up. If you are a defender,
it will make your guy move when the ball is snapped and result in a stutter step. If you take control on a deep pass and intend to press y to intercept, it makes you stop or move the wrong way. It is sending a signal to move left or right or back or forward
that you do not intend it to send. At least that's my issue. My day one controller had this problem. I bought one from best buy and one from gamestop. They both had the problem. I took those two back and the two new ones had same issue. I took them back AGAIN
and the one from gamestop has the same issue. The one from best buy is fine so far, but I have lost faith in these controllers. I was an xbox live beta tester, but I am seriously thinking about trading in my system and getting a 360, then trying this again
in a year or two. This is really unacceptable. The thing is, these things are supposed to last ten years, but they don't last ten minutes. The amount of pressure you put on them should not be an issue. They are meant to be used, not babied. If they are that
fragile that the pressure of a human hand can mess them up, then they are unacceptable.
