    Xbox One Controller Frequency

Right now I have an original xbox one with the original xbox elite controller(it has micro or mini usb). I am looking to see of I can see if it operates on a 2.4 Ghz protocol, and if so I want to change it to a 5 Ghz protocol. I am not sure if first of all it will work on the original xbox one. Thank you in advance.

    :)

it does operate on 2.4 GHz but there is no way to change that, nor would it work with any Xbox if you did

    Controller will not stay connected

I don't know if it is much help but the microwave at my parents house cancels out my Xbox 360 controllers. It could very well be something that works on a similar frequency to the Xbox One controllers.

Any way to change the frequency channel on 360 controller`

Sorry but you simply can't change the channel/frequency that the Xbox and controller use to communicate.

Xbox restarts when I turn off my tv and turn it back on or when I switch to a different channel.

I wonder if the frequency used by the TV remote, to turn it on, is causing the problem. It may be close enough to the one used by your wireless controller that when you turn on the tv, it turns off the xbox.

Your routers frequency can effect things too.

The newer model Xbox 360s from 2010 and on only operate on the one frequency.
