Xbox one controller freezes but doesnt disconnect

Had this problem for about a week now, the controller freezes up and none of the buttons works. The light is still on but nothing happens.

I have turned off the controller and the console itself and after doing this it works fine for about 30 seconds but then the problem comes back. I've also updated the controller like suggested. Getting tired of this.

I have a some suggestions you could try if you haven't done it already.

*Disconnect your controller from the xbox then reconnect.

*Try using the controller closer to the xbox and see if it disconnect

*if your using a battery pack, try using different batteries

* Try hardwiring to your xbox and see if it disconnect

This is a short term solution but if your controller takes batteries and the controller freezes, remove them and re insert them and turn it back on. It should fix the issue. It could be that you need to change batteries or that something in your controller
is faulty. If all is lost then you might want to check out the Xbox One Wireless Controller Solution support

have you tried to hardwire the controller and checkiing if there is an update for it?
