    Xbox One Controller for Vista?


    I bought a second controller primarily to use on my PC, which is still running Vista. I downloaded both sets of drivers, just to be sure, and both tell me they're for Windows 7+. Is there any way to use my XBone controller on Vista, or am I...XBoned?

    So I went on the repair page for replacing my broken xbox controller and on one of the steps it gives me an option to choose a replacement controller. Theres 4 options xbox one controller, xbox one controller 3.55mm, xbox one controller 3.55mm v2 black
    and xbox one controller 3.55mm v2 white. Are the v2 controllers the latest ones.

    In this case I suggest you to contact the Microsoft technical support so that they will be able to guide you on how to install the drivers or so that they will be able to provide you the perfect drivers for your PC. You may contact the Microsoft department

    Alright, so for anyone in my boat's information, I got onto the Xbox Support Chat, and they referred me to Microsoft Support's phone number, and I called them and asked them, and apparently there are no Vista Drivers at all, and no plans to make any. I'm
    not too concerned for myself, as I'm upgrading my PC relatively shortly, but I'd eagerly sign a petition to get Vista drivers if someone wanted them badly enough to start said petition.

    I had a chat with the support team and they said the they are working on a version for any os under windows 7. That is what i was told

    As of Feb 15, 2015 there are still no drivers that support use of Xbox ONE controllers on Windows Vista :-/

    This is crazy. They need to get on this. I contacted chat support and they told me to come here and post on the forums that this is an option we'd like to see in a future update.
