    Xbox one controller for PC


    So I've been trying to connect my Xbox one controller to my PC but my computer wont recognize the controller. I have downloaded the correct drivers but it isn't being recognized.

    Also be sure to take out the battery pack, it was registering it for charge only with my pc until I did.

    May I point out where the OP siad the correct drivers were downloaded already.

    Maybe a 360 controller would be a better option........ The recharge kit does NOT make a Wired controller btw...

    On the controller's end, you have the micro USB cable plugged into the actual controller itself, as opposed to the micro USB port for the recharge kit battery, right?

    Is that an official Xbox One battery pack? Just that I assumed they would have used the micro usb port that's already on the controller to charge.

    Yes, it's a 3rd party battery. OP didn't specify, so just mentioning possibilities.

    Also, OP doesn't mention what version of Windows is being used. Not all versions support the controller.
