Xbox one controller for pc -> RB button broken

Hi ,

I buy my xbox one controller for pc in march 2017 on amazon italia . but I live in France and yesterday when i play with my controller, my RB button started to be difficult to operate and then it is broken. It's not possible to make a return via amazon
italia.

I don't have a Xbox one console , so i can't open a request for after sales service on microsoft support website directly.

Could you explain to me how to make the warranty work?

Ways to fixed a jammed button on the xbox one controller?

I know this is something I can easily google which I will. I just want to keep my options open before I damage it more.

Xbox one new "mapping" for their controllers, is anyone else having trouble with it?

If your rb button is broke it would be simpler to replace the controller.

At least in the US, manufacturer's warranty on controllers is 90 days. However, in any country that's part of the EU, I think consumer laws extend it to a year.

Just to clarify, does the RB button on your controller appear to have a broken component, or is the button not registering? Have you checked to see if there is any visible dirt or debris that may be affecting the RB button on your controller? Also, have
you checked to see if there are any available
updates for your controller?

the button wont work anywhere, its a controller issue i cant find anything online about fixing it the only other controller i have is broken,the back left of the rb button will click in a tiny area but the rest of the rb wont click and feels stuck when i press it

Microsoft do not repair controllers. They replace them if they are in warranty. If it it out of warranty they will charge you for a new controller
