    Xbox one controller flashes like strobe light when trying to sync and wont connect


    I already asked an ambassador about this but he was rude and completely unhelpful, so this is all I can think to do now.

    The controller in question is one I normally use for playing PC games, so I don't know when it might have happened, but when I try connecting it to my console, the home button flashes 8-10 times a second like a strobe light and wont connect to the console.
    There is nothing wrong with the batteries, as when left alone the controller flashes normally as it searches for it's linked console before timing out and turning off automatically. When connected to the console via a USB cable, it functions normally, so it
    might be the wireless transmitter that has broken or something along those lines.

    xbox 360 controller wont sync

    al my other controllers connect but my new one with the transforming dpad wont connect to my 360 slim. when on, it flashes to connect. I press the sync bottons on the 360 and controller and the lights on both flash showing that they sync but it wont connect.
    i tryed with my play and charge but it still wont work

    Xbox One controller won't connect

    My controllers won't connect when I try to sync them the controller light flashes but the Xbox doesn't flash. I've tried hard reset a few times and still won't work. Anyone know what to do?

    hey thanks for the help I tried turning it on manual and the controller sync but after that it won't sync anymore and the lights keep on flashing on the controller. when I try to go sync it with the 360 but the 360 doesn't pick it up and the lights still
    flash on the controller. what does this also mean?

    xbox wireless controller not working

    Try pressing the sync button on your xbox until it flashes and then press and hold the sync button on the controller until the lights start spinning and flashing. Hopefully it should connect. Also, if your not sure if its the controller or the console, maybe
    try the controller on a friends console or your friends controller on your console. hope that helps

    If this is a normal xbox one controller for example a wireless one that takes batteries in the back. Don't use a bluetooth usb. I suggest just a usb cord like a andriod phone cord. That's what I use, and it directly connects to the usb insert on the top
    of the controller and it'll show it's connected with solid light of the controller. Be advised you will have to re-sync the controller to your xbox when you're done.
    its a normal xbox controller and im trying to use it with a usb because my pc cant do bluetooth but when i plug it in the xbox light just flashes

    I recently tried updating my controller but the update failed, now my controller wont sync with my xbox and also will not sync with a micro usb cable. The light wont flash faster if I press the sync button on the controller. I would like to update the controller
    and possibly solve the problem but since it wont become recognizable to any of my devices I can't. I need urgent help.

    try to get your controller checked out by an expert because most of the time it's the stuff that are inside that either needs servising or replacing the componets inside

    my xbox update was stopped.

    No!i wont connect more than one controller with my Xbox.if i will press the sync button on my Xbox the lights will spin around for sometime then it will stop.but if i press the sync button on both things then it will stop and just flash on the console and
    controller.But the console will turn on by pressing the guide button on the controller.i also changed the batteries.please help me am in big trouble.
