Xbox One controller faulty bumpers

Since I have owned an Xbox One (around two years), I have gone through around 8 controllers due to the same problem. One of the bumpers becomes loose, and eventually falls off completely. This is through normal use. In the 6 years I owned a 360, I never
replaced the original pad. Is this a production fault? Does anybody else have the same problem? Does this problem occur with the brand new controllers? In all honestly it would be so much better if the old 360 controllers were compatible. Getting fed up of
buying new controllers! Any help is appreciated. (Considering buying an afterglow).

Bumpers on Xbox One controller

The bumpers on the Xbox One controller are absolutely terrible. Every controller I've ever owned rather it be a SCUF or a default controller the bumpers have always broken in a couple months. These need to be built to be more stronger so they don't break
so easily.

If your controller is under warranty still we'd recommend reaching out to the Chat/Phone teams for service. We've not seen this issue happen often though, have you by chance dropped the controller on accident? If so, it's possible the components inside have
become loose, but beyond that we really couldn't speculate.

Really sorry to hear about the trouble with your Xbox One Elite Controller. The information that His Pet Leaf provided is correct. Unfortunately if your controller is outside of the warranty period you'll need to purchase a replacement. Thanks a ton for

So is there any member of staff that wants to comment on this thread? I feel that the next viable step is a letter of complaint because online requests are getting nowhere. This is absolutely unacceptable that Microsoft continues to brush this off and turn
a blind eye to their mistakes.

Hey there, I'm sorry to see you're having issues with your controller. I do wish the warranty was a lot longer too. But you can send in your controllers for repair or replacements. It's best if your console is still covered by warranty as you won't need
to pay much at all or any for that matter. A few people complain than Microsoft only services consoles and controllers. That's not entirely true. You just need to know where exactly to look and who to speak to.

SEND IN THE BARE CONTROLLER if you need that fixed, keep the removable sticks and DPAD, as you will be sent back a barebone controller.

You can also request replacement pieces incase you've lost thumbsticks/paddles or they have broken.

Owned mine for about a month and yet again the bumpers broke. Why can't they come up with a better design or at least an easier way for us to replace them since they break so much?
