Xbox One Controller Drifting

This issue makes me think twice about buying the next xbox. I've contacted support numerous times, and their helpful, but the solution is "Buy a new one". In addition, my warranty is over. Another solution was to bring my controller to the nearest microsoft
store, which is in another state.You don't know how many in game purchases i've made on accident because of this. I have to "great" xbox controllers, both of which are faulty. In one, i cannot speak on the mic, and on the other, it is near impossible to play
with the drift. Thorughout the years, I've loved xbox, now it may be coming to an end. Hopefully it will not Microsoft, please respond.

Xbox One Controller Troubleshooter. Unfortunately for drifting issues, the controller would need to be repaired or replaced depending on your warranty status.

I understand buying a new one is the first solution that comes to mind, but think about all the other xbox expenses. Xbox live to make games actually fun $60

Gamertag change $10

Controllers $60 each

Headset over $30

Console $400

Kinect $100

 

Do you expect the company that puts tires on your car to replace them when they go bald.

It is going to be less expensive and faster just to purchase a new controller. You have already received the best advice out there "buy a new one". Sorry but sometimes the truth is not the most desirable of suggestions. Happy Gaming!

 

The purchase in game was an operator(Rainbkw Six Siege)

 

You could try cleaning around the sticks and even replace them with new ones. You will need to find away to open your controller. I suggest google it as I can't give you details on how to do it. Both my controllers have gotten loose sticks at the moment
so a project of sorts will be happening soon with my controllers.

 

they seem to be not much to them. Like the plastic is way thinner than the 360 controllers. Like you can just crush them in your hand. I can hear mine crack and feel it give alittle during gameplay.

 

I recall them advertising the One controllers as better than the 360 controllers. Like, they've gone through all that testing and should last longer and all that. I don't know, the LS on my controller seems to be getting "sawed off", I expect it to start
getting stuck any time now. And that certainly was faster than any of my 360 controllers...
