Xbox One Controller drifting up issue and Dashboard issue

After having my xbox one for about a year my controller is starting to have issues. What is happing is my right analog stick is it's starting to drift UP making FPS's and nearly everything else impossible to play and enjoy. I have search through all the
Xbox Forums and have followed EXACTLY ALL the Xbox Support suggestions and NON of them are working. I have not dropped my control from a high height, spilled anything on it, bashed it or done anything to neglect it from it's intentional use. Another problem
that is occurring is when I am at the Xbox Main Menu Dashboard whenever I click 'A' to open an App or a game what will happen is, I can see the 'effect' of me selecting/clicking the app, however it is not responsive to open. I have to click 'A' repeatedly
until the App opens. I have my Xbox connected to the internet by wire with fast internet speed and full controller battery health. I don't know if this is a Software problem or a Hardware problem. I hope Xbox will release an update that my help solve these
issue because I am not the only one by far.

    :)

Controller working incorrectly after the newest update

Xbox One controller has drifting issue and moves too fast on the dashboard after the newest update. Before the update everything was working okay but then I updated and turned off my controller. Nothing happened to the controller it didn't fall nor did anyone
    touch it.

I figured out the problem with the Home dashboard. The issue of course is in regards to the controllers behavior. The drifting up is making the system think that I am actively pressing or holding a button when in which case i am not. This "blocks" my ability
to press "A" and select an App. The only "solution" is to actually pull down the right thumb stick slightly "counteracting" the effects of it drifting up and then it begins to "work" normally. I am really hoping that Microsoft Xbox fixes this issue with it's
    upcoming update to the controllers.

    - Controller Update Coming soon (at the time of this post)...

  6. I don't think its a update issue ,I would say wear and things getting loose, when it happened to mine it sounded like a can of marbles.

    Sensitivity on controller to high

Most games have individual sensitivity settings but I've never heard of anyone having issues in the dashboard unless you're controller is faulty. Sounds like you may have some very severe stick drift.

my center point keeps shifting up when scoping in also when just running. sigle player and multiplay

    Hey there.

Not quite understanding what you mean by centerpoint. Is the controller drifting up? For steps on drifting controllers, check out our

    Xbox One Controller Troubleshooter
. Unfortunately for drifting issues, the controller would need to be repaired or replaced depending on your warranty status.
