    Xbox One controller doesn't working on Win7


    Sorry for the bad english and dirty words but... Who the hell have made this ***? The controller driver doesn't update automatically but doesn't update manually too. I've paid for a controller but i can't use it 'cause some mother *** have messed it up.
    I've been waiting for so long to play on my PC with an xbox controller and now i just can't because microsoft don't stop making ***. Someone to help me solve this problem?

    Adapter for Xbox One controller not working correctly on Win7??

    Hey there. I need help, I have an adapter for the Xbox one controller, i plug it into my PC and the controller will sync with it... But NONE of my games will recognize the controller unless i plug it back in via USB cable... Grrrr ?!?!?!?!?

    I have Uninstalled and Re-installed the drivers for both the controller and the adapter multiple times. I am running windows 7. Can someone please help me?

    Any able to get Xbox One Elite Controller to work on Win 7/8/8.1?

    Has anyone figured out a way to get the Xbox One Elite Controller working in Win 7/8/8.1? The new controller has a different HWID so the old drivers don't work and I have been unable to find any drivers on the web or through Windows Update. I have an
    original Xbox One Controller working just fine on my main Win7 gaming machine via USB, but if I connect the Elite it comes back with the "device doesn't have a driver" since the HWID is different than the installed drivers support.

    I tried this on my Win10 laptop and that detects the Elite controller just fine, but I want the ability to use this on my main gaming machine and my XB1. Supposedly the controller is supported on Win7/8/8.1 (*excluding the Win10/XB1 only config app) according
    to the MS support rep, but he didn't find any drivers for Win 7/8/8.1 either.

    I really don't see any performance / aesthetic reasons to update to WIn10 until I am forced to for a DX12 game I actually want to play. I know the Xbox Accessories app isn't support below Win10 except I can still use that clunky app on my XB1 to config
    a profile, but even that workaround won't help if Win 7/8/8.1 can't find a driver to support basic operation.

    The 827 sounds very good, but it isn't on the Xbox Live Certified list nor does it have a "Works With Win7/Vista" logo and isn't on this list either

    It may well work but I'd be very wary if it doesn't sport the Win7 logo

    Hey Chance,

    Thanks for posting! When wiring an Xbox One controller into a Windows PC to charge, the PC will switch to prioritizing that USB connection over the wireless dongle. When you unplug the controller from your PC, the PC may not pick up the wireless connection
    and a pairing the controller again would be necessary.

    Hope that helps clear up the issue.

    Welll I am on Win7. Before I bought the Adapter, a Xbox Supporter told me that it can be used for Win7 too by now.

    Generally it is working. But I can't access, I would call it the "secure" menu, where I can save/load game files.
