    Hello everyone,

    normally my controller just turns on when I turn on my PC, but since I've done a firmware update, this is not the case.

    Currently I'm using a USB connection with the Plug&Play cable, also my USB ports always have power, even when the computer is off.

    Did all the troubleshooting, the virtual assistant suggested a replacement, but the serial number wasn't found. I bought my controller from a retail store, does that still work or do I have to request a replacement at the store? I still have the receipt

    I need a way to successfully unsync my Xbox controller from my console, so I can again use it on my laptop via bluetooth.

    For now, why not just turn off the Xbox at the wall, then sync your controller to your PC, then turn the Xbox back on at the wall. That way you wont turn the Xbox One on when syncing the controller to the PC.

    Ok. So Fix bluetooth problems usually works for a while. But when I connect PC xbox controller via USB (older one, doesn't have bluetooth), the one which connected via Bluetooth keeps turning off every minute. And doesn't turn on itself, as it usually happens.

    Try an alternate plug? you may be using a cable not suitable for the xbox controller e.g. just for power and not for controller use
