Xbox One controller doesn't feel right

The 360 controller has a much better feel to me. I find it slightly more difficult to aim on the one. I'm not sure if it's the different size/shape of the controller or if it's the larger dead zones.

 

The XB One Controller IS smaller than 360 Controller. And it's only good for small hands. Anything other than small hands means cramps. I can't stand it. I must cringe my hands to use it.

The bumpers are terrible and also conceived with small hands in mind since small hands results in correct Bumpers placement. The fingers align correctly on the Bumpers.

While the 360 Controller was a good design for all hands sizes, the XB1 only accommodates small hands.

The face buttons are bad. Those have almost no rebound and the slightest pressure keeps them pressed.

 

The xbox one controller is causing me a lot of pain in my hand, wrist and forearm due to it's tiny size and the necessity to grip it with your fingers rather than just resting in your hands. I could play all day on the original xbox controller and the 360
controller wasn't bad because the battery pack made it a bigger object to hold.

After playing for 2 or 3 hours a day since I got it last week I am beginning to think that unless a more comfortable controller comes along I'll be stuck on the 360 because this one is going to cripple me.

 

i hate the controller for games which use the bumpers a lot, like Scholar of the 1st Sin. The bumpers jsut don't feel right. Also, the sticks are a bit too loose for my liking. Other than that, no complaints, but I would've rather seen them keep the 360
controller design for One as well. That right there was perfect for everything else except for Dark Souls.

I totally agree. When I play Destiny for a long time, my arms start hurting really bad like I'm getting carpal tunnel. I realized that it's because the controller is way smaller than the 360, and my thumbs are too long for the joysticks. I really hope
Microsoft puts out a larger controller at some point.

 

It exactly the same size as the 360 controller. I have both here next to me and there is no difference.

 

I prefer the 360 controller because I don't like the feel of the bumpers and triggers on the Xbox One controller. The triggers especially just feel that bit too soft and springy.

 

You can stream your PC and xbox 1, and use a 360 controller plugged into the pc's usb, but if your connection is too slow, the game will encounter serious lag. I found similar difficulties with the controller. The thumb stick is smaller than 360's which
makes for a distracting experience when steering cars. The triggers are also contoured in such a way that they don't pull up and down like simple pistons. They are angled on a slant to the outside and they force my finger to push inward instead of down and
make the acts of trailbreaking and maintaining straight-line traction a nightmare, whereas, on the 360 controller, it's a pleasure. I had to resort to buying Dirt Rally for Steam on PC and playing that version because most Steam games are compatible with the
360 controller. The triggers didn't affect my skills in games such as THPS5; they work fine for spin left/right because they are no longer allocated to the same duties as a rally game. The one thing that the X1 controller had going for its triggers was width.
Like changing a car's wheel base, the change in trigger width aided in accelerating the car off the line and out of corners. The advent of the Duke controller for X1 should help with traction troubles in rally games, and its naturally wider trigger should
help in accelerating race cars the same way. Until it is released, I will be waiting to play WRC 6 and 7, and Dirt 4 on my Xbox 1.
