xbox one controller disconnects???

ok so I've had my xboxone since launch date i have the plug and charge kit for my controller. just recently i bought the stereo headset,I've updated my controller as instructed on the paper work. the issue I'm having now is that whenever i game over 2hours
my controller will randomly tell me to reconnect my controller even though the battery is full and even the xbox home button is lit up. i either have to wait for the controller to reconnect and for it to allow me to press A to reconnect or remove the battery
pac put it back. do i have a faulty controller?

If you mean the duke controller, you can't use the original controller. You would need to buy the newer version for the Xbox one which is this

I have the same problem, my controller has disconnected three times since using the chat adapter or controller update.

 

This is a known fault and I have the very same issue, it's either wait for MS to admit the problem and issue a software update or swap the console

 

swap the console wtf whoa. my controller was fine before the update

 

It's a bug that came along with the newest controller update. A current workaround that people are posting is going to the settings and clearing out the Alternative MAC address then doing a reset on the console. I, personally, have not tried this...I'm
just relaying what others are posting.

 

Where are people posting this, do you have a link? Or is what you said all there is to know?

 

Having the same issue. So frustrating to have your controller randomly disconnect during games.

 

It's not since the update I'm afraid

I had this console from a Day One when it was released and it was doing it back then last year

It has nothing to do with the latest updates I'm afraid

All I seem to be reading is people swapping out their Xbox Ones in the advance exchange program and their problems are being resolved

 

My controller has been "crashing" and disconnecting since I applied the controller firmware update when I got my Official Stereo Headset and Official Stereo Headset Adaptor on Friday. My Xbox One was in the Preview Programme, and I had already previously
updated the controller during that, yet had to update it again when I got the headset and adaptor on Friday.

I can play Titanfall for around two hours with the adaptor and headset connected, and then I'll get an awful noise through the headset and the Xbox One will tell me the controller has been disconnected even though the light on it is still on.

I have to take the battery out of the controller and put it back in to be able to get it to come back on and reconnect.

I have tried going to Advanced Network settings and selecting to "Clear" the "Alternate MAC address" as mentioned in a post on here somewhere, and have also tried power cycling the console. Neither has helped.

Xbox Support on Twitter first claimed it didn't sound related to the controller update, even though it never happened before the controller firmware update and even though I provided them with links for various threads about it here at Xbox.com along with
Tweets from The Verge's Tom Warren who's suffering the same problem.

They now suggest cutting power at the wall for 5 minutes and re-syncing, which tbh I doubt will be any help at all.

 

So what is the answer, controller, update software, xbox one... come on man... I have x07, titanfall controller and an xbox one purchased at christmas.. no issues tell chat adapter update... terrible sound along with controller disconected message... only
fix pull batteries and put back in.. what are we supposed to do MS?.

 

I'm have the same problem it's a pain as it was fine before i did update and start using my new XO7 headset

 

My controller was fine until I installed the headset adapter update, and I have a Day One Controller.
