Xbox one controller disconnects randomly after stereo headset update.

Never had a problem with my controllers working. I use the xbox one on a wireless setup, and have nyko aftermarket batteries in the 2 controllers and they are charged after every use. I use a controller for about five hours without interruption when i play.
I recently purchased a turtle beach stereo headset, hooked it up to the controller and the xbox one made me update the controller before i could use it with the headset. I used the usb cable and updated the controller. It worked for about an hour when the
stereo headset stopped working, unplugged it and re-plugged and it worked, then about a half hour later the controller froze and the screen showed the controller has disconnected press B to remove message, 3 seconds later the controller reconnected on its
own and the message disappeared without me pressing B. The controller began more frequently disconnecting and about every 4th time will not reconnect without taking the battery out of the compartment and reinstalling and then turning the controller back on.
I tried using the usb cable to plug in the controller but it still does the same thing while plugged in, i also tried using the original microsoft headset and it still has the same disconnect issue. I switched back to the other controller that was not updated
for stereo headset usage and have no problems when using the original microsoft headset. I tried all of your troubleshooting steps to no avail. Is there a way to remove the update from the controller?

I'm randomly getting similar issues with my Titanfall Controller randomly shutting off after the controller update and I can hear sound out of my new Xbox stereo headset with the headset adapter but nobody can hear me until I restart my Xbox
