    Xbox One Controller disconnects in-game


    Hi guys

    I hope someone can help me, I only seem to find old posts (which were archived/I cannot reply on them). I am new here, so apologies if I am repeating the same question someone else had (a million times before)

    Our one Xbox One controller started to disconnect today, while both the controller and xbox are still on. We cannot exit a programme or switch of the remote or Xbox and have to remove the batteries to switch it off and back on again. Then it works for about
    5 minutes and then lose connection again.

    The batteries are brand new and fully charged so it cannot be a battery problem (also since the controller doesn't lose power, only connection).

    I have seen a post about a possible interference but we have not done/obtained anything different between yesterday and today. The other controller works without any issues.

    Vanguard Controller issue ...

    Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

    Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

    I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

    I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

    I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

    Hi there MAS AttacK!

    Sorry to hear that your gaming is being interrupted by controller disconnects. Have you checked out the article outlining
    Xbox One Controller disconnects? Additionally, are you able to wire your controller directly? If the controller is updated and doesn't stay connected
    when you use the USB cable, your controller may need to be replaced.

    "am I being stupid".... No, everyone has trouble from time to time. But, let me suggest following up with a couple of things, "Connect a wireless
    Xbox One controller to your console    " and "Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect" . Let us know if you continue to have
    issues connecting the controller to your Xbox.
