Xbox One Controller disconnects during multiplayer Nba 2k14 game, Gamer Profile switches ...

Idk if it will happen in other games, but I just bought a new controller for my xbox one yesterday, and whenever my brother and I play NBA 2k14, a message displays that one of the controllers has been disconnected and to press the start button once it has
been reconnected. After doing so, one of the controllers will lose functionability in the game, one of our gamer profiles gets switched to the other controller, and when we go to the choose sides portion of the start menu, one of the controllers is missing.
It seems to be having a problem with us both being logged in at the same time for some odd reason. Idk why. But if we both log into our gamer profiles, it gets confused when we're playing the game and does this, multiple times, and we end up fumbling around
with the game until we can get both of our controllers back in game and assigned to the right teams again.

I don't have a Day One controller. I have 3 normal controllers.

I have encountered the same or similar problem. When i have friends visiting, and they sign in as guests, sometimes the controller icons don't show up in NBA 2k14's Choose Sides screen.

Often times, after i've finally gotten the controllers to work, the NBA 2K14 game will pause mid-game and tell me that one of the controllers is disconnected, and when i go to the Choose Sides screen, one or more of the controller icons will be missing,
even though on the Xbox home screen it says that me and my friends are signed in.

why does it happen???? it's so annoying!!!!!!!! please fix this issue!!!!!!
