Xbox One Controller disconnects but still on?

First things first, I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong section and anything like that, (I rarely to never post here). Any help is appreciated a whole lot!

So, this is something that started happening today and is already starting to slowly making me more and more angry. Mostly because I have no idea what's causing this or how to fix this. As the title says, the controller "disconnects" (no input registers),
but the light on the controller is still on. I'm used to the controller disconnecting if the batteries completely dies out, but why does the controller disconnect while A) The light on the controller is stll on. B) The battery indicator shows that the batteries
are close to full (wich it should be since I changed them yesterday and have only played for about a total of 2-3 hours since then)?

Some info:

Console: Xbox One X

Console firmware: Latest (as far as I'm aware, I have it on automatic).

Controller: Normal Wireless Xbox One Controller (White, just around 1 month old. Never been dropped, thrown or anything like that).

There is a few things I've tested to try and fix this:

* 1: Shutting the controller off (from the "X"-button or by removing the batteries and putting them back in) and then reconnect. It reconnects and then works just fine, but every 5 or so minutes it goes back to disconnecting with the light on the controller
still on.

* 2: Tried switching batteries even though they where nearly at full power. Even tried switching to another brand of batteries (completely new ones).

* 3: Tried the Power-Cycling thing. Tried to shut down the console, remove every cord and wait, then putting everything back in, starting the console first and then connect the controller.

* 4: Tried to re-sync the controller with the console. It re-syncs just fine but does not fix the problem.

* 5: I've made sure that there is nothing in the way between the console and the controller. It's pretty much a straight path between the two. It's about 2m (around 7ft) from the console and where I sit with the controller.

* 6: Checked so the batteries is in place and not loose in the controller. They are in place like they should be. (If they weren't, the controller would most likely just turn off, right?).

So this is all I've tried (some multiple times). Nothing seems to work, so as mentioned above, any help is really appreciated!
