Xbox One Controller disconnect issues!!

Before I begin I would like let everyone know the few key things that I have seen on a lot of with the issues relating to the random controller disconnecting issues.

I have seen many ridiculously silly solutions that should not be suggested by anyone or any Xbox employ trying to help.

For starters-

Is your battery low on your controller? (no)

Is your Xbox in another room when it disconnects? (no)

Is your controller positioned in a way that it is being blocked by your legs or objects that may between the controller and the Xbox. (NO) first I would like to let everyone know that you can be in another room, covers over your controller, and be
15 ft away and there wont be any issues with controlling you Xbox.

So now for the "issue" at hand.

I have had issues with my controller disconnecting when plugging in my headset. The controller randomly turns off while playing games. I have two different controllers which were bought from Best Buy. They both do the exact same thing. I have recently
however noticed that it will only work on my stereo headsets.

One headset is a PS4 headset that works fine on the X1 but will also be just as random when it comes to disconnecting. The other one is a headset that stated it was compatible with Xbox One and is a 3rd party headset. I also have a mic that is an Xbox
addition that works and the controller never disconnects.

Now for the solutions attempted.

I called costumer support and tried all the hard reboots and clearing of the "cashes". Software is up to date and the issue continues.

I called the costumer support today and advised of every little detail I could. The only solution that may be the issue is the headset them selves. They believe that 3rd party headsets may be causing the issue since the controllers have software that
determines if you are using the proper equipment.

For anyone reading this post please leave comments about what type of headset you are using (Brand name, mic or stereo). Also if you know someone that is not having this issue for them to get on here and leave a comment about what ever headset that
they are using. The more information that can be gather the faster this issue can get fixed. (My head set is a Kotion Each gaming headset)

Also for any Xbox employees reading this..... This issue has been going on for a while and a solution needs to be resolved soon, please. If there is a dedicated issue in relation to 3rd part controller accessories please let everyone know so we don't
waste money and give Xbox a bad rep.

Since "cortana" update my controller disconnect issues have returned

I would recommend checking out the "Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect" page,

support.xbox.com/.../wireless-controller-disconnects. It lists a number of issues that could be causing the disconnection and solutions.

 

Controller disconnects

Same problem here.. Xb1 S controller randomly disconnects, original xbox one controller has no issues with xb1 S console...

 

I was suffering from frequent disconnects several months ago, but only with my headset plugged in. Then noticed friends telling me I was cutting out in chat. Solution for me was a new headset. Evidently letting the headset hang from the controller to spin
the kinks out damaged the wires (Whoops!). New headset and the problem went away...except when the batteries start fading.
