Xbox one controller cuts out/disconnects Continued Thread

I just thought I'd Chime in and say I updated my controller and I too am having this issue! But I also did buy a Play and Charge kit so I'm wondering if the Play and Charge kit disconnecting that someone just mentioned might be the thing, haven't given that
a go. I just grabbed some AA's off my desk and I'll take em home and give em a go tonight. However I'm pretty certain there is a direct correlation between the update for the controller and the issue, so I suspect AA batteries will not help.

This bug has to do with updating the dashboard and not updating the control. I think.

I also have this problem,

I did replace the console but the fault persists.

I have two controllers, and it does it with both.

Please communicate this problem to the developers.

OK so I received a 258mb update yesterday and I've just been playiNg Titanfall solid with no controller issues. I think the update that I got fixed my console! As soon as I got the update I went to update the controller but ot said it was up to date anyway
so it was purely a console update but yea seems to have fixed my problem. So if you're watching whoever pushed the update to my console, it worked and I'll report back if it doesn't work but seems like that is me fixed!

I wanted to hear from developers that engineers are already aware of the problem and so soon to be fixed, but that's not what we hear but to try one walkthrough that does not solve anything!

Yea it is really frustrating not getting an acknowledgement of our issues... I'm a Software Engineer FFS.....I can troubleshoot and I am very certain that this is a result of the Software Update.

Control was disconnecting for no reason. Now the Xbox itself connects to live, seconds later it disconnects, then moments later again connects and continues to do this with no imput to the system. Cannot do anything at this point because the malfunctions.
It started with the controller disconnecting. Does anyone have any success stories of these problems being fixed?

so basically the issue lies with the Day one edition things ..... thats awesome!

i have not had issues with my replacement non day one console and controllers which I am really enjoying! I would say raise it with xbox again and make them aware that its the day one console issue but these threads are not even being monitored despite several
of us raising it further and there being a promise someone will look into it.

It really is not on.

I have just came off the phone to Adam (Xbox Dublin Call Centre) and I requested him to read some of this thread

He agreed that something should be done and he is going to pass this over to his manager to see if it can get pushed...we will wait and see

Adam did agree though that this thread 'should' have been replied to buy someone at Xbox and that having a post
count of over 800 it should be flagged.

Saxo - Im not sure what im pulling for more... I really want a console that works perfectly.. but I can imagine the youtube of that being quite amusing.....

However I agree the chances of one coming that remains error free is pretty remote!!

to do the trick, please create a new thread indicating what you're experiencing along with the follow information (provided by Misses Joust):

What exactly is happening with your controller? Disconnecting, won't connect, shutting down? Tell us what's going on and how frequently.
Does it happen during a specific activity? If the issue only crops up while playing a certain game or app, include that in your post.
Does it happen with multiple controllers? If you have a second controller or if you can borrow one, try it on your console and see if it behaves the same way.
What have you tried so far? Please be specific and list the steps you've done.

Creating a new thread can ensure that we can cater our support specifically to each of you!
