Xbox one controller cuts out/disconnects **Continued Thread**

Looks like our last thread was Locked which means they are completely embarrassed about what is happening! And are sweeping our comments under the rug I can't believe that original thread has been locked? You were receiving as much feedback as possible
from players and you decided to turn your back on the people that pay YOUR wages! I recommend you open that thread once again and allow us to continue our comments. The reason why people are venting their feedback is because there is NO ONE from Xbox Support
helping, all we were seeing was Miss Jousts template post being stamped at the top when a new page was created. I can imagine this thread will be either one deleted or two locked but I will tell you that there is now a couple of Xbox Official magazines looking
at this and the one you locked so it's never going to go away, we need answers to why the controllers are disconnecting so much? We have tried ALL your recommendations on what to do and we have exhausted everything possible to rectify the issues You can't
simply suggest that everyone starts their own new thread this same issue is happening to all of us and it's the same problem, the controller cuts off and disconnects then connects after XX seconds We need answers and more importantly we need help! But don't
push this thread away again...please!

I'm truly sorry to hear about the issues being experienced. I can certainly see how this could be frustrating. If you haven't already, please check out Misses Joust verified post and try out the troubleshooting steps she offered. If those steps don’t seem
to do the trick, please create a new thread indicating what you're experiencing along with the follow information (provided by Misses Joust):

• What exactly is happening with your controller? Disconnecting, won't connect, shutting down? Tell us what's going on and how frequently.
  
• Does it happen during a specific activity? If the issue only crops up while playing a certain game or app, include that in your post.
  
• Does it happen with multiple controllers? If you have a second controller or if you can borrow one, try it on your console and see if it behaves the same way.
  
• What have you tried so far? Please be specific and list the steps you've done.
  

Creating a new thread can ensure that we can cater our support specifically to each of you!

Ms should say someting about this issu. It very nice that Ms delete my post in another thread that is great support. I hope thar fixed fast. MS PLEASE GIVE A STATMENT IS THIS A SOFTWARE OR A HARDWEAR PROBLEM?

 

had the issue as well but was using cheap wire for my android phone bought a play and charge kit. I am no longer having that issue ?

 

Can you please state how long you have had the console,?

This issue is what I think a communication error between the console and the controller

 

Feb and like I said was irritating until i got a play & charge kit.

 

I have been through 3 consoles with the advanced exchange program

5 brand new controllers

4 play and charge kits

And I'm still getting the disconnections mate

It is without a doubt a problem with Microsoft's Hardware. The controller disconnects make playing games a frustrating fiasco. Their lack of acknowledgement in regard to the issue is also quite disheartening. "Please use our controller connection guide,"
well [Mod Removed] your guide it doesn't help. "You have faulty equipment and it needs to be replaced," well
[Mod Removed] again MS that doesn't help either. Fix your
[Mod Removed] Microsoft. Quit beating around the bush and fix your
[Mod Removed], you [Mod Removed] wrangling [Mod Removed].

 

I'm sorry but locking the original thread just makes me sick, it really makes me sad that you come on here to find answers and help yet the main thread where everyone is chatting about the same issues and some helping others actually gets locked!!

I still need to test this more, but for me, I seem to experience this problem when charging other devices through my xbox one USB port, such as a cell phone, or portable blutooth speaker.

 

I also have disconnect issues, but only with the rechargeable battery pack. I noticed that if I have the battery pack in and i firmly grip the controller and gently twist it the power cuts off on all my controllers with the battery pack.

I try that same grip with AA batteries and I don't lose power. It seems the battery pack only has two contacts and it may be losing contact with the metal clips as the controller flexes.

Are any of you with the rechargeable battery pack also experiencing this?

 

I use rechargeable battery and is this happening to me! But I've switched to the normal cell and the problem continued! Now I do not know if I switched to a pile of bad mark. I'll try Duracell!
