Xbox One controller cuts out and reconnects very frequently, all within about 3 seconds

Ok, so my Xbox One controller is NOT a day one edition. My step-brother has an Xbox One as well (also not a day one edition), however, we both started experiencing the same problem relatively around the same time period. Our Xbox One's literally have a whole
floor between them. My room is in the basement and his room is on the second floor. On top of that, we've had our Xbox One's for about a year and only recently have we started experiencing this disconnecting/recconecting problem. So I highly doubt that it's
because there are two Xbox One's within the same household. There has BEEN two Xbox One's in this house for a whole year and there were no problems before. Our controllers never got mixed up because my controller has a 3.5mm jack built in and his doesn't.
Our Xbox One's are nowhere near the routers and there is nothing metal or electric between me and my Xbox One. I literally have a very short wooden coffee table between me and my Xbox One, and my Xbox is higher than the table so that is ruled out as well.
I always sit 6 feet away from my Xbox One and no further, and so does my step brother. It's not the batteries because no matter how many batteries I switch in and out of my controller, I still experience the disconnecting and recconecting. Like I said, I've
had this Xbox One for a year and I've never moved it or switched out controllers or rearanged my room. Nothing is or has been changed from the time I got my Xbox to the time I started experiencing this problem. I've done nothing to influence the cause of this
problem, it literally just started happening right out of the blue. I've tried to update my controller to see if that was the problem, I've done a "power cycle" to my xbox(one of the troubleshooting suggestions on xbox forums) and even after it still disconnected.
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!? I've done all I can do on my part without reaching out for help! PLEASE HELP ME! I can't seem to fix this annoying problem on my own!!!

Xbox One Day One controller issues

Hello, The chrome D-Pad on my Xbox One Day One controller does not work when I push it to the right. Also, my controller randomly disconnects in the middle a game then reconnects within a few seconds. Thanks for the Help.

 

Xbox controller is acting weird

hello all I am running into some trouble with my xbox controller and I have tried all the troubleshooting methods and I even went out and bought a brand new controller but am still experiencing the same issue. So the problem is, is whenever I am playing.
More times than not with my mic plugged in most of the time will cut in and out of audio when I'm in a party and chop everyone's voices up so bad that you cant understand them becauseit's almost as if there is really bad signal, also my controller will also
disconnect from my xbox, and sometimes it's for a brief second then itll reconnect, sometimes it's for a few seconds and I have to hold the middle button down to reconnect and sometimes it disconnects until I hard restart my xbox because that's the only way
itll reconnect. At first I thought it was my mic so I bought a new one and then thought it was the controller so I bought a new one. Dont know what's wrong and dont know how to fix it

Help would be much appreciated
