Xbox one controller constantly disconnecting at 10 feet

    Xbox one controller constantly disconnecting at 10 feet


    I have a brand new Xbox controller. Updates not required. I have used this with game pass online with no issues or disconnects. I also use it connected USB with no issues. However , when I disconnect and connect via Bluetooth and it successfully connects
    , sometime shortly thereafter it disconnects. THEN it connects and continues the circle. Here is what I have done so far. I have Uninstaller and deleted driver and restarted and reinstalled to no avail.

    I have a very good mobo (fatality gaming) and this shouldn't be happening.

    Where do you keep your Xbox One?

    My xbox one is on a glass entertainment center 16 feet away. Line of sight to the console and kinect. Kinect is 5 feet off the floor. I am on my 3rd controller and randomley disconnects. I was told today to move to a different room by xboxsupport on twitter

    Hey Unreal Warfare, currently tons of users with the 1409 are experiencing controller disconnects. I am only 7 feet away from my Xbox One and mine continues to disconnect multiple times a day. I was told by (Official Staff) Happy Sanitorium and SpikiestWharf
    that the Xbox Team is investigating this issue.

    Perhaps this issue is correlated with your disconnects as well.

    Same here... Makes me not even want to play b/c it's so irritating. Love how with the 360 controller I could walk up stairs, out to the mail box, etc. basically almost everywhere throughout my house and it would work, but with this Xbox one even being less
    than 10 feet away and I get random disconnects..
