Xbox One Controller/Console Issue

Hi,

Recently my controllers have been laggy to the point of all my games being unplayable. The best way I can describe it is, the information I am sending to the console is not going through and gets put in late, making my aim go all over the screen. Sometimes,
in a game I am just walking forward and my aim will spaz out and not let me control it. I thought that it was because of wear and tear because of the stick drift on my two really old controllers, but I just bought a brand new controller and it still lags.
I have done a hard reset on my xbox, moved my xbox so there would be nothing in its way, and tried using a wire on my controllers.

I think it is a problem with the xbox console itself because like i said I just bought a brand new controller but i have no idea why

I really do not understand what is going on and any advice would be awesome because it is very frustrating, especially with red dead and fallout coming out soon. Please help!

Controller Issues.

Hey there BENOCIDE!

Sorry to hear about the controller issue! If you haven't already, plug your controller into the console with a micro usb cable and try syncing it that way as well as

updating the controller. I also recommend simply changing the batteries just in case the ones in there right now aren't providing enough power.

If the issue persists, I would recommend testing a different controller on your Xbox One console or your controller on a different Xbox One console to help us narrow down the issue. Post back and let us know how it goes!

 

Intermittent Controllers After Update

Do you happen to have any other wireless items near your Xbox One console that may be causing interference with your controller? Also, do you have another Xbox One controller you could try on your console? And are you able to try your controller on a different
Xbox One console to see if the issue persists?

Provide us with a little more information to be able to best assist you? Do you see the lag affect your controllers movements in the dashboard or menus or just in gameplay. It could be a problem with your connection in which case are you connected via wireless
or wired connection? You can try a wired connection if you are wireless, if you are able to do so. Also could you try this

experiencing slow performance. If everything is good with your connection it sounds like it may be the console that is having trouble with its ability to detect your controllers. You may have to get it serviced I recommend
trying some of these steps: Troubleshoot your Xbox One Wireless Controller

But if it still doesn't work you may want to consider
Getting your Xbox console or Kinect sensor serviced
