Xbox One Controller connected with Guest Account changes midgame??

Me and my friend played Black Ops 4 together. Everything was fine until the controls changed on his controller shooting with RT was now weapon switch and he didn't changed the controls. My controller still works fine and after he dis and reconnected the
controller and we leaved the game his controller also worked normally again. What weird issue is this?? We haven't been able to reproduce this so far. But we also had this issue a few months ago in Halo with the right stick reversed...

Having the exact same issue. Your description is spot on! I'll try using a wireless connection to see if it changes anything. Someone else also suggested assigning the controller to a guest account and then back to your account.

You need a second controller and bind it to a guest

However to get game saves you must have a profile assigned to the guest as only the primary would be able to save

Guest accounts are only secondary temporary profiles

This is why a real profile is needed to be lijnked

To a forza hub accounr

Guest profiles can only br played while the primary account must be signed in on a controller

And guest has to be on the second controller or first but only one profile can only be on one controller at a time

If you want not to be on the primary you MUST make an online account and be signed into forza hub

For this, your Gamertag needs to be a Gold account (which it currently is). Then invite a friend over with a second controller. Have your friend connect the second controller to your console, and when the console asks to sign that second person in, choose
the Guest account. You will now have two accounts signed in: PurpleSlug22(1) and PurpleSlug22(1).

In some cases, you need to start the game first, with no one signed in on the second controller yet. When the game asks you to press Start for the second player to join, do so, and have the second controller sign in as guest.

Look closely in the list of Gamertags, there is the option to create a new one, download an existing one and to sign in as guest.
