    Xbox one controller causing fps drops.


    Hello, as of late my xbox one controller ( the type that has bluetooth in it) has been causing fps drops whenever connected to my laptop despite using the official adapter. I have tried updating the controller from xbox accessories and replacing the batteries. please let me know if there is any other troubleshooting i can do for this problem. Thanks i advance.

    I understand that you have problem with your Xbox one that causing your fps drop when connected to your laptop. There are number of possible reasons why you are experiencing this issue. Let's work together to find the best solution to this problem.

    I would like to ask a few questions to better understand the problem.

    • Can I find out the exact version and edition of your Windows operating system? Please provide us with a photo showing the version and edition of your Windows. To do that please open the Run command by pressing Windows key + R on your keyboard, type winver, and click OK. Which version of Windows operating system am I running? - Microsoft Support
    • What is the make and model of your laptop?
    • Do you happen to see any error message on your end? Kindly provide us of there's any.

    Which games are experiencing the frame drop?

    What settings are they configured with?

    How much of an effect do you believe is occurring say on a percentage basis?
