XBox One Controller cannot sync with the device

Hi,

My XBoxOne wireless controllers worked without any problems for a few years.

Unfortunatelly, on of my controllers started blinking and cannot connect to the device. I have tried the followingd:

connecting controller via USB cable. Controller working properly

Batteries has been replaced

updated controller soft

restarted Xbox

100's synchronisation trials

controller is fully working with PC in a wireless mode

Two controllers only have been connected to the device - nothing else. So limmit of connected devices is not an issue.

I would appreciate your support to solve this issue. Off course i can buy a new controller but this is probably not a solution since it works with PC.

The XBox factory reset could be a good solutions but my kids will loose all their stuff.

unfortunately you cannot, the controller is set to ''always'' connect to the last synced device.

you will have to sync your controller every time you want to switch device

and turning off the controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button until it turn off is the intended way of turning it off without turning the Xbox off (when synced to an Xbox), or when synced to another device other then the Xbox

I have already tried the power cycle solution. It did not help.

Factory reset seems to be a solution.

I will try it.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Please perform a powercycle on your console and if it doesn't work perform a reset on your console keeping your games and apps.

Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Sorry about that but its normal , controller just sync with one device, you cant sync it with both devices in order to work...
