Xbox one controller cannot connect wireless to console!

Hi there,

I have had my Xbox one since December now, it was working fine wireless for the first month with rechargeable batteries. It then started disconnecting randomly and sometimes had trouble reconnecting. Decided to buy another controller and the same thing occurred.
One afternoon it didn't connect at all (both of them and they were all up to date along with the console). I have bought a plug and play kit and now only one controller will work while it is wired. I have tried disconnecting Kinect and trying it and also heavy
restarting etc...

hi I'm having the same problem got the cod xbox one im sat about 6ft away from console pointing straight at it can be mid game and controler just looses signal and in multiplayer the game doesn't pause.tried the sync button doesn't seem to do anything and
didn't reconnect controller the Only way to reconnect it was to turn the console of at the front and turn back on via the remote control normaly works fine for a bit until next time . I'm also seeking a solution to this as this is poor never had a problem
with my 360 all the days of game play.

Its terrible for next-gen. Have known nothing like it! My warranty is also out of date.

Hey everyone...if you've determined that it's not wifi interference then my strong suggestion is to set up a repair. Not an exchange.

Have the work order replace your wifi board on the console and have them send you the same console back. Expect 20-30 days total

or your controller cannot power on?

If your controller cannot power on,

You can try to usb connect, If work, this maybe your batteries problem,

If not work too, you need get the new controller or fix it.

If you cannot wireless connect,

you can try use other controller wireless connect the console,

If can other controller wireless connect is not work too,

this is your console problem,

else, controller problem.

If you have xbox controller wireless adapter for windows,

you can try it

What console are you referring to - Xbox 360, Xbox One or Series X|S? What exactly happens when you try to connect/sync the controller?

For Xbox 360:

If this controller was previously connected to the console but is no longer able to connect, you should repeat the connection process using the console’s connect button.
