    Xbox one controller cannot connect to pc


    My brother is coming home for christmas and he brought one of his controllers to my place so we could play fifa 20 on my computer together. The controller i use is one of the later models which can connect to my computer via bluetooth but the one he has
    does not have that function. I tried to connect with usb but it won't connect to the controller. First thing i tried was switching the cord and it started vibrating after i plugged it in. after some googling i didn't really get any answers so i tried to remove
    the bluetooth connection to my regular controller and then trying again. The last thing i tried was pluggin in my usual controller with the microusb cable and that one could connect, which left me a little confused. Does anyone know how to fix Xbox one controller cannot connect to pc :)

    sorry but you cannot use a 360 controller on xbox one.

    There are ways to stream your xbox one to your pc and then have your controller connected to the pc instead of the xbox one.

    Can you connect the One controller wirelessly to your PC using the old 360 adapter?

    No, if you could connect the Xbox One controller to the PC using that adapter, you'd also be able to use the Xbox One controller on the 360 and vise versa; which we know you cannot do.

    sorry but you cannot use a 360 controller on xbox one.

    There are ways to stream your xbox one to your pc and then have your controller connected to the pc instead of the xbox one.
    But ive seen expensive adapters, but its all unreliable and expensive, but i assume your correct but you do say you can stream and use one?
