XBOX One controller buttons doesn't work

From one day to another my controllers' buttons stopped working.

The sticks, the triggers and the home button are fine, but anything that's "clickable" does not work.

I tried connecting it with USB cable, tried the power cycle thing, updated the firmware on it, tested on PC too. Nothing seems to help.

If it's under warranty, you can call the repair, friend:

After clicking on it, go to ''online service''. In the category put ''accessories'' and next to ''standard control'' and fill in the form with your data.

What type of problem are you having with your controller?

MY CONTROLLER WON’T CONNECT TO MY CONSOLE OR PC -> it doesn't apply. the controller does connect to my pc

I CAN’T UPDATE MY CONTROLLER -> it doesn't apply. Xbox Accessories says it is up to date

MY CONTROLLER DOESN’T FUNCTION CORRECTLY -> somehow it doesn't. let's take this option

MY CONTROLLER WON’T POWER ON -> it doesn't apply. the controller does power on

SOME OR ALL OF THE BUTTONS ON MY CONTROLLER DON’T WORK AT ALL -> it doesn't apply. All buttons do work correctly

SOME OF THE BUTTONS ON MY CONTROLLER DON’T WORK AS EXPECTED -> it doesn't apply. All buttons do work as expected.

Thank you for that reply. I've been really upset lately by Microsoft Store service. They can replace my controller but only by a refurbished one...

I guess i have no other choice.

Sorry to hear you are not fully pleased with the service option for your Xbox One controller. Rest assured that the controllers are tested prior to being used a replacement controller in these situations.

Also check by attaching to the console using a micro USB cable, that the controller is updated to latest firmware.
