Xbox One Controller Built Poorly

I dont know about you guys but this controller is a downgrade to the 360 controller. My controller that i got with the system feels like it opens up by the seams in the back. So i figured it was a faulty controller. I then bought a 2nd controller and
after a few weeks im starting to have the same issues. The controller is not built solid and that needs to be fixed. It feels like its going to open up in the seams when applying pressure and thats very annoying

Xbox One S LE controller D Pads

Has anyone noticed the difference in the D-Pad quality/build of the Xbox One S LE controllers? The D-Pad feels poorly built and isn't the same as previous controller models. Any controller built after the Xbox One S White controller seems to have this "new"
cheaply built D-Pad that seems to become defective rather quickly.

I noticed this newer D-Pad in the following controllers:

Dawn Shadow(pink/black) controller

GoW4 Crimson/JD Fenix LE controllers

 

The Xbox One controllers are poorly built

Had to come back to this thread to say that my elite controller is now on it's way for a warranty return. Issue cropped up literally a day before warranty expired. (3 months) The B button is sticking down intermittently. (Again, mature gamer, no drops, no
food, light use, etc.)

 

You'd think with the supposed amount of research and money that got put into the controller alone. The controller should be at least a bit half decent.

 

Watch a video taking one apart and compare it to the 360 controller. Even though it feels like it might come apart at the seams it's built 10x better than the 360 controller. I have a buddy who can't stand even slight seams on controllers and mice and the
such. His solution is get some Sugru which is basically plastic Bondo to fill them for a completely smooth surface.

 

i disagree, i watched the video you mentioned. Due to them going to a screw less exterior with those plastic covers that snap on the controller is not solid like the 360. It crackles and moves even if so slightly. Its still not acceptable, Ive never
seen a console in my time have a controller that wasnt built solid until now. They just need to fix it or hopefully a third party controller comes out. Everything else on the controller is fine, even if the LB and RB arent that great.
