    Xbox One Controller - Bug in Wireless Mode


    A few games like "Max: The Curse of Brotherhood" and "Final Fantasy XIII" have a bug while using the XBox One controller, specifically in wireless mode.

    These games act as if one of the triggers were pressed all the time, which make FFXIII skip cutscenes and become unresponsive while in menus, while in the case of Max make the game enter the "brush" mode all the time.

    A solution would be GREATLY appreciated, maybe a fix for the driver?

    This bug is also present in other games made with the Unity Engine, by the way. I hope that serves as a clue to find a solution.

    OK, so the issue seems to be that the XBox One controller treats each trigger button as a separate axis, while 360 controllers used only one axis for both going from a -1 to 0 to 1 value or something. Some older games seem to have trouble with the new system,
    causing this problem. I still need to find a solution, though...

    Hi,

    This is how the controllers are meant to function. The reason is a simple one. All current Xbox controllers have two wireless modes, one is Bluetooth and the other is the proprietary wireless mode controllers use to either connect to an Xbox One console
    or the Xbox One receiver for Windows 10.

    When you un-plug your controller, the controller will only look for the Xbox One receiver, not Bluetooth, this is why you need to sync it again. Nothing wrong with your controller.

    Logitech G933 Patch/Update?

    It would be up to logitech to update or make the headset wireless for the Xbox. There are many wireless headsets that are out there that conform to the wireless "standard" that Xbox has in place. Until then you'll have to wait for Logitech to provide that
    feature.
